Excerpts
from participant evaluations ...
"I wanted to thank you for the professional and thorough
photographic sessions. You produced some of the best learning
environments I have ever been associated with in any photographic
workshop. Not only did the workshop attendees benefit, we were
completely absorbed in the learning experience. Every individual
grew by leaps and bounds. I enjoyed having my work critiqued and
sincerely appreciate your kind works." -- Becky (Close
to Nature class)
"...very
professional, with a nice flair of humor." -- Lewis
(Backyard Nature Photography Class)
"Your rustic hospitality will be like the logs in the
cabin, long-lasting in my memory. Your time and patience, both
in Connie's techniques and Pat's knowledge of nature, made for
a powerful impact." -- Patrick (Private photography
instruction)

Biography:
Connie Toops is the author/principal photographer of nine
nature books, and since 1978 her articles and photos have appeared
widely in conservation-oriented magazines. She is a contributing editor
for Birder’s World magazine.
Several years ago Connie and her husband Pat transformed their half-acre
yard in West Virginia into a wildlife haven that attracted more than
65 species of birds, myriad butterflies, frogs, toads, salamanders,
small mammals, and deer. This yard was featured on national television
and in prominent nature and gardening magazines. Connie travels widely
to present seminars on attracting birds, butterflies, and other wild
creatures and to photograph these creatures in natural settings.
